IKORODU GOVERNANCE INITIATIVE DEMANDS IKORODU DIVISION PRODUCE THE NEXT GOVERNOR OF LAGOS STATE
Ikorodu, one of Lagos State's Five (5) divisions under the IBILE arrangement, remains the only division alongside Badagry without an indigenous governor. We urge our leader, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, the Governors Advisory Council (GAC), religious and traditional leaders, and other influencers to support our quest for an Ikorodu indigene as the next Lagos State governor in 2027.
We believe it's time for Ikorodu to take the helm, and we'll continue advocating for this cause. As the saying goes, "If we struggle, we can win; if we don't, we've lost abinitio."
Following this press release, we'll engage prominent Ikorodu indigenes and residents, culminating in a World Press Conference to amplify our message.
Ikorodu has Prominent and Reliable Son's and Daughters capable of leading Lagos State, and it's only fair we get the next governorship candidacy, considering our contributions to the APC in the last three election cycles.
This is a Legitimate and Valid demand and this Struggle and advocacy will continue until this Agenda is actualised.
